Like I have said a few times, I’m in my last year of college and I’m studying graphic design. This means that about 85% of the content and photos shown on this blog are taken from my on-campus apartment. I have a tiny kitchen that also doubles as a living room and all my photos are taken on my tiny $7.99 IKEA coffee table. I eat, cook, sleep, watch tv, photograph and relax all in this same space.
I’m very lucky to have two rather large windows in my apartment, that flood the place with light during the day. I think natural light is the best for photographing and it has suited me pretty well here. I want this “inside scoop” to be like a behind the scenes at Must Come Hungry; so you know a little more about me and about what I do or am doing here.
I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but I’m currently working on my senior thesis. I had to create a project to execute and present in front of the Art Department here; that day will be April 24th, it is rapidly approaching. My thesis is halfway done. What is it you ask? Well, you’re kinda looking at it. I’ve been obsessed with food blogs for a couple years now and have always been wanting to start one but seriously lacked any motivation. Plus, I kind of didn’t even know where to start.
Enter senior thesis project. I figured that I could use this opportunity as a way to kick start something that I’ve always wanted to do and I’d be able to incorporate all my design skills into this project. So, this is how Must Come Hungry was born and it will live on past my college and thesis days.
I will continue updating the “inside scoop” to show latest “behind the scenes” over in my kitchen/living room. So be sure to stop by often!
You have done very well my darling daughter. 5 years ago, I would have never thought you would have progressed this far. Not only have you lived on your own for 5 years but you have learned very valuable life lessons in the process. Lessons that have made you develop into a lovely young lady.
